Its eight-sided shape is a deliberate compromise between round and square: it frees up more legroom than a round spa of the same diameter, while taking up less ground than a square one of the same capacity. On a terrace, those few centimetres often decide whether the installation is feasible at all.
Its structure is semi-rigid, and that is what sets it apart from an inflatable spa. Foam panels 13 cm thick slot together to form the walls, finished with a woven PVC outer cover. That thickness works on two levels: it insulates the water, so the heater works less, and it gives the rim enough rigidity to lean or sit on, which an inflatable wall cannot offer. Assembly takes under 15 minutes and dismantling follows the same logic, for storage out of season.
The walls stand 70 cm high, enough to immerse the neck and shoulders once seated. That is the threshold at which a bubble bath genuinely relaxes the upper back, where a shallower tub leaves the shoulders in the air. One hundred air jets spread through the tub deliver the bubbles, fed by an all-in-one motor unit that handles filtration, heating and bubbling on its own. Grouping them into a single module avoids multiplying connections and potential leak points.
Filtration is by cartridge, and one cartridge is supplied with the spa, as is the insulating cover that limits heat loss between sessions. The unit can be used indoors or outdoors, provided the ambient temperature stays above 10 degrees. Running on 230 V, it weighs 38 kg empty, measures 193 x 72 x 73 cm once set up, and NetSpa covers it for 2 years.
