Conical burrs turn more slowly than flat ones, which limits heating of the grounds and preserves the aromas.
Its 15 bar pump and 1,450 watts handle extraction and heating. Going from bean to cup takes a single press, with no pods or capsules to buy. Strength and cup length are set separately, so the same result can be repeated from one cup to the next.
The spout height adjusts depending on whether you use an espresso cup or a mug, which avoids splashing and loss of crema. The machine brews two coffees at once, useful at breakfast or in a meeting.
