Argo Dry Nature 17 dehumidifier - 17 L/day - R290

The Argo Dry Nature 17 dehumidifier extracts up to 17 litres of water every 24 hours, enough for a room of around 20 m². That is the right size for a bedroom, a living room or a utility room whose walls turn damp in winter, where a smaller unit runs constantly without ever getting ahead. Its 250 m³/h airflow turns the volume of the room over several times an hour, without which moisture simply returns from the corners the unit never reaches.

The humidistat is adjustable from 40 to 80 % and stops the unit once the setting is reached. That matters more than raw capacity: a dehumidifier that never stops dries the air past the point of comfort and draws power for nothing. A 1 to 24 hour timer lets it work overnight or while you are out, and automatic defrost keeps it running in a cold room, which is exactly when condensation forms.

The 3.8 litre tank is emptied by hand, and an alarm warns when it is full rather than letting the unit stop unnoticed. A continuous drainage connector takes over if you would rather run a hose to a drain, which is the mode to choose for a cellar or a room you do not visit daily. A removable purification filter traps dust and rinses clean, with no cartridge to buy again.

The unit is rated at 47 dB, quiet enough for a living space. It draws 260 W, measures 34.2 x 56 x 23.4 cm for 13 kg, and its multidirectional castors let you move it from room to room without lifting it.
