The Tineco Floor One S9 Artist Steam wet and dry vacuum adds steam to vacuuming and washing, in a single pass. Its HyperSteam steam reaches 160 degrees, a temperature that lifts grease and dried stains where cold washing merely dilutes them. Its suction reaches 22 kilopascals from a 285 watt motor.

Five modes cover the range of uses: automatic, quiet, steam, suction only and maximum. Suction-only mode serves surfaces that will not take water, and quiet mode allows a pass without waking the household. The appliance is designed for tiles, wood floors and polished concrete, with dedicated brushes including one for pet hair.

Its SmoothDrive technology provides multidirectional propulsion: the machine follows the movement both forwards and backwards. That is what separates a pleasant washer from one you have to drag, across an area of several rooms. An LED display shows the machine status and the current mode.
