1. 1. Right of withdrawal (14 days to change your mind)
You have 14 calendar days, from the day after you receive your appliance (or the last parcel in the case of split delivery), to notify us of your decision to withdraw, without giving a reason. To exercise it easily, use our online withdrawal feature ("Withdraw / Cancel my order" button), available even for guest orders, or the standard withdrawal form available on the site.
2. 2. Return period (14 days to ship)
Once you have notified your withdrawal, you have 14 calendar days to return the product to our warehouse in France.
3. 3. Refund (14 days)
We refund all sums paid, including the initial standard delivery costs (at the rate of our cheapest standard delivery), within 14 days of your withdrawal notification. As permitted by law, we may withhold the refund until the product is received at our warehouse OR until you provide proof of shipment, whichever is earlier. The refund is made to the original payment method.
4. Return costs at your expense
Return costs are borne by the customer. Small appliances (under 30 kg): return via the usual postal services, at your expense. Large appliances (over 30 kg / bulky): return via a private carrier of your choice; under Article L.221-12 of the French Consumer Code, we estimate the maximum cost of this return at around €40 to €90 incl. VAT for mainland France, depending on weight and distance. This cost remains at your expense.
5. Condition of the returned appliance
For a full refund, the appliance must be returned complete (accessories, manuals, cables, remote controls) and in a condition allowing resale. A small appliance may be switched on for checking; a large appliance must not have been used for prolonged cycles. Any excessive handling causing depreciation may result in a reduced refund.
6. Withdrawal form
A standard withdrawal form is available (to copy into an email to support@sweet-houses.com or to print): "I hereby notify you of my withdrawal from the contract for the sale of the appliance below: appliance name and model / order no. / order date / date of receipt / customer name, address and email / date and signature (if sent on paper)."
