That is the sensible choice when the appliance sits alongside an oven rather than replacing it.
Its 800 W puts it at the top of the 20 litre category, many of which stop at 700 W. The gap shows in use: a dish reheats faster, and above all more evenly, the available power avoiding cold spots in the middle. Five power levels let you drop down for gentle defrosting or keeping food warm.
The programmer is mechanical, a dial: you turn it, the appliance starts, and there is no clock to set and no menu to work through. That choice has a concrete effect on service life, control electronics being one of the most common failures on digital models. The door opens sideways and the turntable is 25,5 cm across, a diameter that takes a standard dinner plate.
A built-in kit is supplied, which allows fitting it into a tall unit or a wall cupboard rather than standing it on the worktop.
