Supplied without battery or charger: the Solo label marks a bare tool, to be completed with two 18 V batteries and a charger from the Einhell Power X-Change range. That is the principle of the range: the same batteries power every tool, so the second purchase costs less than a complete machine. The two 18 V packs fit in series to deliver the 36 V the turbine needs.

The Einhell GE-CL 36/230 Li E-Solo brings three functions into one body: blowing, vacuuming and shredding. Blowing, the air leaves at 230 km/h, enough to gather the leaves of a path or terrace into rows before collection. Vacuuming, the flow reaches 700 m³/h and the leaves pass through a shredder at a ratio of 10 to 1, dividing the collected volume by ten.

That ratio changes the nature of the job: the 45 litre bag fills ten times more slowly, and the chippings go straight to the compost instead of filling a garden waste sack. An electronic control varies the speed continuously, from sweeping dry leaves to lifting debris compacted by rain. Adjustable guide wheels let the machine rest on the ground rather than making you carry its weight while vacuuming.

The auxiliary handle is adjustable, soft-grip coated and mounted on anti-vibration bushes to soften long sessions. Being cordless, the tool weighs only 3,1 kg bare and removes the constraint of an extension lead on a large plot.
