Its three driven wheels let it tackle slopes of up to 45 %, terrain where a two-wheel-drive robot loses traction. It is built for uneven gardens cluttered with obstacles rather than a clear rectangular lawn.
Navigation combines GPS positioning with RTK correction and a camera, which does away with a boundary wire to bury. The zone is set out from the app, with no groundwork or trench to dig beforehand. Control runs over Bluetooth close by, Wi-Fi at home and GSM remotely, including away from the property.
Its 18 cm cutting width and single disc suit working between beds and shrubs. Cutting height adjusts up to 6 cm, a range covering ornamental lawn through to maintained meadow. A rain sensor sends it back to its base at the first drops, which protects the blades and avoids tearing up a soaked lawn.
An audible alarm and PIN code lock deter theft, a real risk on a machine left out in the garden. It runs at 59 decibels, weighs 12,05 kg and posts a repairability index of 8.2 out of 10.
