Glem GHC620SS visor hood 60 cm

The Glem GHC620SS visor hood fits under a 60 cm wall unit and extracts 230 m³ of air per hour. The visor format keeps the hob area clear: the front edge extends slightly over the burners instead of dropping down like a chimney. Its single motor is set across three speeds, by mechanical push-button controls.

It works either in extraction to the outside or in recirculation, which makes it installable in almost any kitchen. In recirculation, the air passes through a charcoal filter that traps odours before returning to the room, and that filter is supplied as standard rather than sold separately. Two metal filters trap grease upstream and go in the dishwasher, which avoids buying disposable filters.

Its consumption of 14 kWh per year is remarkably low for a hood, and earns it an A rating on the scale running from A+++ to D. Vapour extraction and the LED lighting are both rated B, two good levels on the European energy label.
